According to the 1850 Limestone Co. AL census, George J. was born c. 1814 in Virginia. He married Nancy M. Dupree 22 Sept 1842 in Limestone Co. They were the parents of at least 10 children that I'm aware of. The family remained in Limestone Co. until after the 1870 census, and I next find them in Marion Co. AR. George died sometime between 1870 and 1880, I found Nancy in the 1880 census, Marion Co. AR and she was a widow. Their children include: Wiley S., Lenora A. who married David C. Loyd, Ladusca, William Drury who married Matilda Maxey, Peter J., George W. who married Prilda Maxey (a twin to Matilda), Sarah M., Margaret Joanna, Charles M. who married Margaret Nanny, and John E. who married Ellen Patterson.
