John Burrus, Rev War sol. Stewart Creek, Surry, NC

Researching a John Burrus, who was a Rev. War Sol. that had 620 acres of land on Stewarts Creek, Surry County, NC, adj. the Va line. He married Susannah STUART, perhaps a scond wife by 1820, they had one son named Thomas born ca 1822 in Surry Co Nc. This is second hand info given to me 4 years ago and I never followed up on it. The Stewarts and Burrus family sold and bought land from eachother for many years. I find: William, Jacob and Franky(Francis?) Burrus envloved with my Stewarts in land transactions since abt 1790. The Burrus land would have been in northern Surry County, Nc. by the Va line and in Patrick, Grayson and Carroll Co Va. Anyone researching these lines? I have read that their son Thomas moved to Tn or awhile (maybe served in a war), and married a Goodrich in TN. Thanks for any help. Teresa Stuart de Rios
