James Burrows

I thought I'd put a new post up on James Burrows and wife Milly Wilkerson. James was an older son of Anthony Burrows. They came in a family group from Pendleton SC in 1808. After Anthony died in 1822 and perhaps his father Edward in 1830, at a point the group moved on to Tishomingo MS. My John Burris group including Murphys and McDaniels moved in 1846, not sure if James went ahead or with this group. Then after the Mexican War William H., son of John Burris and Sarah McDaniel, moved his family to Gonzales County TX in about 1856. It appears that James Burrows might have been there already as some say he died in 1850 or 1853. His wife continued to show up on census records thereafter. He had a big piece of land, about 1400 acres on the Guadalupe River near Belmont. He is likely buried in the Burris or Littlefield-Burrows Cemetery just south of Belmont. Not sure what happened to him. The Burris famly were around Belmont, Leesville, and Sandies Chapel as well as in Wilson County. I'm trying to piece together the timelines and movement. Any help appreciated.
