I am inquiring about Ashton Plantation. My research leads me to an obit from the mid 1950's stating my great grandfathers cousin died and he farmed Ashton Plantation. He was known for cattle breeding. Nis name was Clifford Burrowes. From what I have found out so far, it is in East Carroll Parish.
