I will try to help you as much as possible, I am actually working on a tree for my husband’s family. His mother was Minnie Elizabeth Pyland, married to Marvin Gopell Burrow. The cemetery in Marshall County is his family’s, he was born in Lewisburg, Tennessee.
I have a few pages of names and info for the Pyland family, and the Cleek family who married into theirs. I’ve been so busy with the Burrow side that I haven’t worked on Minnie’s side. There are names and dates, and copies of someone’s bible pages. It will take me a while to sort everything out to put into the tree. Some of the pages are quite faint, but I could scan them to send them to you if you’d like. It might be better than waiting for me to sort it out. You might have better luck tying the names together!
Minnie Elizabeth Pyland was born to Stephen Warren Pyland and Lela Daisy Cleek Pyland. She had a sister Flora, and a sister Esther. We were also told the name Pyland had originally been Pylant.
I have some very lovely pictures of them that we will certainly share, but need to let you know their house burned to the ground in 1957 and everything was lost, including the photo albums.
