Do you hae proof that Ishmael Burrow was the son of Sterling and Sally Burrow? I have not found proof although this is what I think also. The 1840 census Index for Carroll Co. TN list a Sterling Burrow and a Serling Burrow on the same page.Sterling is mentioned in the will of his father Phillip Burrow dated 1829 in Carroll Co. TN. Ishmael is my ggrandfather through his daughter Cynthia L., Who married William Cobb. Hope to find this proof. Vonda
