Hello Jodi,
My Burrous link is through Pricilla Burrous who married James Harby. I have quiet a bit of information,and it is verified. Last week I was on vacation in Hot Springs,Ark. So I did a little Genalogy for Josiah Henniger Burrows. Found the 1860 census,1870 census, Land deals for Josiah 1854 and a Marriage for Josiah in 1882 in Missouri. It states that he was born in 1827 in Tn and this is correct. The ladies name was Jane Turner, so maybe this is the reason he left Elizabeth with her children,and maybe took his children by his firstwife and left Ark.
So if this is anything you don't have let me know. I also have a lot of old pictures. Some no one can identify.On the back some say Will Burrous. Mandy Burrous or Sadie Burrous.
