There is more than one Sunset in TX, so including name of county can be helpful.

1900 census Montague Co, TX:

Burris, Thomas J., h, b Dec 1853, 4?, Wd, b TX, TX, TX
" Jack, s, b Mar 1877, 23, b TX, TX, TX
" L (not clear), s, b Mar 1881, 19, b TX
" Alford, s, b Oct 1883, 16, b TX
" Minnie, d, b Sep 1886, 13, b TX
" Charley, s, b May 1890, 10, b TC

1880 census Coryell Co, TX:

Category: Name; Relationship to head of household; Marital Status; Gender; Race; Age; Birthplace; Occupation; Father's Birthplace; Mother's Birthplace.

Thomas BURROWS Self M Male W 34 TN Farmer TN TN
Martha J. BURROWS Wife M Female W 21 TX House Keeping MO MO
John BURROWS Son S Male W 9M TX TN TX

By now you've probably learned you can spell Burris any way but lose. LOL

Have you checked Rootsweb's WorldConnect site -- http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi -- I entered Burris, Thomas, b 1853 + or - five years, spouse Martha. There are a couple of people working on this line. You might find out their sources and do some more tracking yourself.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
