Helping Gordon Burris,304-cS.18th ST.Bethany, Mo.64424-2008. phone 1-660-425-7326. find Burris Family, He doesn't have a pc. he has a lot of info on the folling but needs more.There was a William Carrol Burris who was in the milling business at McKnney, TX. probably went to the area in the mid 1840's he isn't sure.his buseness was established before Walter's children came to the area in the early 1850's.some as early as 1849-1850.has a lot on William Carroll Burris, Parents, brothers, sisters & children.the business was later managed by J.Perry Burris-son of William Carroll & later by J.Perry the 2nd. In most records William Carroll & his Family spelt the name -Burrus.Some of Walter's children spent most of their lives in this area.& or buried at the Stiff Chapel Cemetery in Collin County TX. Others buried in the Ball Knob Cemetery in Wise County TX. Others spent much of their lives in EArth County. He hasn't established a line between Walter & the parents of William Carroll. they or probably related.Name is spelt sevsral different ways. Burres, Burrous, Buris, & others.In Walter's probate records the spelling is Burriss.He has been looking for the names of Walter's Parents, Brothers, Sisters, & other relatives for the past several years. he has a lot of info.of the family of Walter but he still has a long way to go."can we help" he sure would appreciate any info. that we have.He corresponds with several others in many states.Walter's children that came to Tx.or> Mary-Married 1st time, Isaac Crabtree. he doesn't know what happened to Isaac. Mary- Married 2nd time John Williams in Jasper County Missouri in 1847. I just sent him some info from a lady about this info.Marry & Isaac had 7 Children>John had 7 children by a previous marriage. John & Mary had 7 children> 21 in all.Thomas later went to California & then to Arizona. Several of his descendants are living in Arzonia.the Payson,Prescott area. Zachariah,went from TX.to Oklahoma & is probably buried there. he thanks (not sure).Rachel, Married Reece Crabtree. the last info. he has for them is 1850 census of Jasper, Newton, or McDonald County Missouri.He isn't sure if they came to TX.or not.Prudence, Married John J. Flanery.They had 10 children & or buried- in the Ball Knob Cemetery in Wise County. Thanks a lot four your help.
