Thank you for your response. But, our problem is we know nothing about our Daniel Rice prior to 1789. I was hoping to find out something on a "possible" Burress/Burriss connection, as Rice is soooo common. But, we jump from the "common Rice frying pan" into the "spelled many ways Burress fire." Never seems to get easy. LOL
