I am doing some research for my stepdad whose mother's maiden name is Burruss. Her father was John Henry Burruss, his father was WILLIAM DURY BURRUSS abt May 1849 in Alabama. He married MATILDA MAXEY in 1871. Do you think this is the same William you're looking for? JMisleh@aol.com
