I am searching for relatives of Gracie Lee Burress or Burrus (spelling conflict on records) who resided in Western Tennessee in the early 1940's. Gracie was married to John T. Johnson and had several children one of which was my mother Lessie Mildred Johnson Lynch. I know very little about Gracie other than that she supposedly died of cancer around 1942-43 in either Obion County or Dyersburg, TN. There were several other children who belong to John Johnson that were partially raised by Gracie. Any info would be appreciated as I can locate no records on Gracie Lee.
