Searching for origins of William Burress who was married in 1827 in Davidson County, TN. Apparently his second marriage because he had sons born 1825 and 1826.

It appears that William was born in 1800. No info on siblings, parents, place of origin, altho it possibly was Surry County, N.C.

William later migrated to Maury and Gibson counties in TN. He died in 1849 in Auburn, CA after going on the Gold Rush that year.
