Someone had posted earlier that Baldwin de Burre was an illegitimate child of Richard I of England. I checked numerous royal genealogy sites and came up empty. I emailed Leo Van de Pas and he said that Richard I had no illegitimate children and that he had never heard of Baldwin de Burre.
