Dear Lois,
I just got your reply to Burr Orgins. I looked at the World Tree to see if your Alma showed up.
She did. And according to the World Tree and
my personal records you descend from Simon Burr rather then Benjamin. Alma dau of James
Burr, son of Elisha, son of Elisha, son of John Burr Sr & Mary Warren, son of Simon Burr & Hester, son of Henry Burre & Ann Fisher, son of
Symonde Burre & Joan Saunder, son of Richard Burre born abt 1500 Essex, ENG. I find alot of
reseachers are assuming that John Burr that married Mary Warren descended from Rev. Jonathan Burr b. 1604. However, his sons John & Simon both died young. Most researchers
conclude that Simon was the father. As with all genealogy this data is still open for further research. I would love to see what you have.
