Hi,
I come from a long line of Burrs in Illinois. Would be glad to share and receive information. My gg grandfather Henry Buckley Burr (b. 1822) came to Geneva, IL between 1850 and 1860 from New York. He was a carpenter and lived with a George S. Burr (1820) and his wife Irene and two boys, Clifford and Erwin. Henry had two wives. The first, Abigail, died in 1855 in Geneva. The second was Helen DeLong Burr, also from New York. The couple had three children, Walter, Hattie and Fred. Fred was my great grandfather. He married Mary Healy and they had one child, Ralph who was my grandfather. My family hasn't moved from this area since the 1850's. Would be interested in knowing where Henry was born and who his parents were.
