Do you have any information on Jehu Burr's ancestry in England? I descend from Jehu and Elizabeth (Cable) Burr through daughter Elizabeth Burr who m. 2nd Obadiah Gilbert. Their son, Obadiah Gilbert m. Abigail Cable, daughter of John and Abigail (Sherwood) Cable. The daughter of this couple, Martha Gilbert, b. 1709, m. William Ogden of North Castle, NY, son of John and Susannah (Dunscombe) Ogden. Their son, Jonathan Ogden, an avowed Loyalist m. Phebe Ann Bloomer, daughter of John and Bethia (Fowler) Bloomer of Newburgh, NY. One of their sons, John Ogden removed to Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada and married Nancy/Ann Fawcett. The line continues: John Fawcett Ogden m. Roxana Lawrence, Roxana Ogden m. William Byron Atkinson, Ethelbert Atkinson m. Sarah Ann Henderson, Marguerite Blair Atkinson m.
