I am researching Charles Burr, my great-great grandfather born in Chesterfield, MA about 1822. I don't know who his parents are. He died in the Battle of the Wilderness in the Civil War May 6, 1884 fighting for the north. He left ten children. Four of the boys went to southern California to live. They are Charles M. Burr b.Jan 2, 1849, Josiah J Burr b. Dec. 26, 1854, Elisha D. b Nov. 7, 1856, and William H.P. b .April 28, 1863. If anyone knows of this family I'd appreciate any information. Their mother was Lucinda Goddard. Thanks.
