Jamie,

The records that they had only covered the timeframe from about 1780 thru the late 1800's. The only Jabez that we found was:
Jabez Jennings Burr, son of Levi Burr, Baptized 11/17/1824.
Sorry we couldn't be of more help to you.
We know that the Fairfield Historical Society is helping to research on people for a minimum charge. They will provide you with the copies of records, if they find anything. They will do only a few requests at a time.
The number for the Historical Society is
(203) 259-1598 ask for Mr. Rod MacKenzie.
He is there only on Wednesday and Friday 2:30 to 4:00, Saturday 10:00 to 4:00 and Sunday 1:00 to 4:00. If he is not overwhelmed with work, he will gladly help.

Good luck.
George
