Looking for information on John Burr, mayor of Casey, IL during early 1900s. He was father of Ned, Marion and Garrie (not me, my grandfather). He was also supposedly a captain in the Spanish-American war, but the only John Burr I see in the listings of veterans for that period, that location, was a Colonel.
