I do not agree with Wilma Evans. Townsend Burr (of Cold Spring Harbor, Long Island) was the brother of Alma Burr. James Burr (BG-383) and his brothers,
Richard Burr (BG-385), Walter Burr (BG-384), Stephen Burr (BG-387) along with their father Daniel Burr (BG-157) were members of the Oyster Bay Baptist Church. Daniel Burr Sr. (BG-62) was also a member. This line of Burr were on Long Island for a long time. Joseph Burr (BG-13) first came to Long Island and with Mary Wood, his 2 nd wife, founded the Burr's of Oyster Bay. I find that the Burr Genealogy (Ref A) and the Underhill Genealogy (Ref B) and Ref C are in agreement.
