The Families of Old Fairfield reports that Jehu Jr., "born by 1625 m. (1) after 1655, Eshter, widow of Joseph Boosey of Westchester, and perhaps dau. of Andrew Ward; m (2) by 1666, Elizabeth Prudden, dau. of Rev. Peter, bapt. at Milford, 11 Mar. 1642/3". Other sources (The History of Fairfield)state that the first wife was certainly Andrew Ward's daughter, "Mary", and the second, Esther, widow of Joseph Boosey. Ward geneaologies show that Mary Ward really did marry a Burr, perhaps Jehu's brother John. Hester Ward, wife of Andrew, listed her daughter, Mary Burr in her will. If you clear this up, I'm interested in knowing what you find out. Whatever else happened, Jehu Jr. produced a bunch of Burrs.
