I don't know of Talcott Burr, but the Banks family and the Burr's were close as they were both land owning families around
Fairfield, CT. The Wakeman family was in Fairfield and there were some marriages between Burr's and Wakemans over time. Also, the Talcott and Banks families had a number of marriages forming an alliance with their families. I suggest you look at Daniel Burr, son of Jehue, Jr. (Called Daniel Burr of Upper Meadow), born December 19, 1687. He married Hannah Banks (d. of John Banks) and second to Mary Sherwood. I think if you follow the Banks line, you could find the Talcott ancestors your Talcott may be named after. Hope this helps.
