Thanks for your note. While I am not sure whether your mother's family is part of my family, it will probably be easier if we communicate directly.
If you send me your email address (mine is rajburr@bigpond.com ) I will let you know what I know about the various Burr families in Aberdeenshire. I have been researching my family for over 20 years and along the way I have picked up heaps of information about other Burr as well.
