I am a descendant of John Carey and Elizabeth Neale. I understand John Carey was the son of Mary Burr, daughter of Simon Burr and grandaughter of Simon Burr the immigrant. I am interested to learn about the migration of this family. Do you know if they were Quakers at this time? Somehow they got to Bucks County and intermarried with my other Quaker relatives who came to PA with Wm. Penn. I don't have any documentation on this family at this time in history but have been given long lists of ancestors including Burrs, Lazells, and Gates.
