Thank you for your response, and I'm glad you are leaving no stone unturned. I think the odds of some connection must be good. Not too many combinations of Platt and Burr could exist without a close familial tie, especially with such close dates.
I am currently separated from my genealogical files because I'm vacationing away from home, to return sometime next week. I hesitate to give you any kind of meaningful response without first checking those files. So you shall be hearing from me within the next week.
