I am also decended from Jehu and family. I have gotten back as far as Eunice Burr, (married Alfred Brunson in 1811), and her parents, Jesse and Sarah. Eunice is described in Alfred's autobiography as a 3rd or 4th cousin of Aaron Burr, and as being from Fairfield, hence the definite connection to Jehu. My problem is the gap between Jesse, (born sometime around 1745 to 1770), and Jehu, (who arrived in CT in 1630). Any chance your book can close that gap?
