Mary: My search for family history leads to NY. JEREMIAH COOPER(1793-1892)pob unknown poss NY lived 1820s-1850's in Tompkins Co NY married 1HARRIETT SMITH(1797-1826)2 LYDIA lOVE (1803- ). Jeremiah/Harriett children were 1)SUSAN MIRANDA b 1815 who married a fnu BURR, 2)Almira (1819-1896) m Lyman Scudder Carll and lived Ogle Co, ILL (my line)3)William Thomas b 1823 and 4)Harriett Maria (1825-1882). Jeramiah/Lydia had children Halsay F b 1828, Bolivar b 1830, Elizabeth Ann b 1833, Helen E. b 1837, Joel B. b 1839 and Mary Jane b 1841. I find a Susan Miranda Cooper with slightly diff dob married to Alanson Saxton Burr b ca 1822 in Allegany Co NY. Does this connect anything you have Burr family. Thanks. Bill willcoff@hotmail.com
