Records reveal the Burr family to be pioneers and leaders of men, migrating from the Netherlands as early as 1112 to Germany, France, then to England in the 13th. century. three
brothers, Jehu, Benjamin & Jonathan came to America, all landing at Roxbury, Mass. with Winthrop. Rev. Aaron Burr, founder of Princeton Univ.; his son Colonel Aaron Burr, Vice President of the US descended from Jehu (Fairfield, CT Branch),
who with Wm. Pynchon founded the city of Springfield, Mass.
Benjamin settled in Hartford, CT (Hartford Branch), and Jonathon a minister settled in Dorchester, Mass. (Dorchester Branch). I descend from Benjamin Burr & Anna Hanna (1)
Samuel Burr & mary Baysey (2), John Burr & Sarah (3), Stephen Burr & Violet Shepard (4), Samuel Burr & Christian Cadwell (5), Lodamia Burr & Solomon Culver (6), Jacob Culver & Susanna Buss (7), Eleanor Culver & George Davey (8). William Davey & Harriet Bunyan (9), Judson Davey & Jennie Niver (10), Jacy Davey & Amy Long (11), Wilma Davey & Bernard Evans (12).
