I see your message dated 14 Aug. 1999. I, too, am related to John Beals and Sarah Bowater Beals.
Thomas Beals and Sarah Antrim Beals had a daughter, Patience, who married Benjamin Carr, who was my Great Great Great Grandfather. I wonder if you are still searching, and wonder if you have information about John Beals' father, who was also John Beals, and who married Mary Clayton. I think this John Beals had a father, William Beals, but I have no information about him. Mary Clayton was from England and her father was William Clayton and Mother Prudence (Mickel?).
I would be interested if you have more information about the Bowater family.
