Shirley,

I have reread your message and tho the first part of Co. Tyrone sounds familiar, none of the rest of the names are on me genealogy chart.

According to my list, my ancestor James Burnside Sr was born in 1771 in Kilmarnock, Ayr, Scotland, married a Rosanna. their son John born 1791, died 1851, married Catherine Mcallister, born 1812 in Ballyperson, Antrim, Ireland. Their son Samuel was born in Caryle, Il in 1831.

John had a brother James and they were to have come from Scotland to Londonderry where they resided before sailing to the US in 1816.

Anne
