Hi , I do not know a Burnside daughter born before 1775 named Susannah. Ambrose E. was the son of Edgehill Burnside b 1790, son of James Burnside (c 1754- 1803), son of James Burnside (1723-1798/99) James Sr had some married daughters, one according to his Will, another out of the house before 1810. Most of his daughters did not marry, there was a Hannah among these. He had only two sons who married and had children, the others left their interest in property to siblings. The two sons that married were James and Andrew, who were having families from James beginning ca 1778 and Andrew beginning ca 1788.
If you send me the information on the ancestor you are researching, I will check for a possible relationship by marriage.
