Alec & Bessie were my paternal grandparents. Alec from Coatbridge and Bessie from Motherwell. Came to US about 1910 through NYC and ultimately settled in Little Silver, NJ. One son Robert W. Burnside died 1956.

Alec had one brother Claude; Bessie, nee Whyte, had several brothers and sisters also in the US; Margaret, Ella, Barbara, David, Robert.

Would be interested in any other Burnside connections with the above.
