First of all, can't imagine why I would take offense. Second,.. I was mostly working with NY Burnsides (try to catch a few who strayed out west, one who went to VA, and one who went to OH). So I don't think I will be of any help.

Perhaps the Burnside Biographical Dictionary will help you? All I can do is list the Louise Burnsides that Laverne Galeener-Moore had found in her research. If you don't have this book already (or access to it), let me know and I'll leave a follow up post with the information. I see 6 Louise Burnsides, one Louisianna Burnside, and one Lovina Burnside.

Is it at all possible that your Louise married 2x?
