Anne:
Hello from Seattle. My name is Jack Burnside and I have just within the past three days became familiar with this website. I am originally from Jackson's Mill W.V. My grandfather told me of four brothers who came from Ireland from which we are direct descendants of. Two of which were named James and John. He tells me a distant grandson of one of the four, John L. Burnside died four years ago and is buried in the Good Hope Cemetary in Harrison Co. W.V. John L.'s father was named James. There was also a John S. Burnside. My grandfather states that the four that came from Ireland scattered throughout the Northeast area, W.V., KY, SC, NC, NY, OH, etc. Supposedly, the story goes that one of the earliest descendants is buried in a little known cemetary, Hull Cemetary, In Churchville, WV. Back in the woods off a dirt road. There is more to this story. If you feel we can make a connection, please e-mail me. Thanks....
