I'm looking for information on Burns descendants who lived in around Cole County, Missouri in the 1850-60s. My great grandmother, Katherine Burns, always said she was a childhood playmate of Jesse and Frank James. She married a Shepherd whose first name I think was Fred. If you have info on any Burns who you think might be my ancestors, please let me know. Thanks.
