I am from the Burneys from North Zulch, Texas.
We have a very detailed family tree from William Burney, the first Burney to arrive in Texas with Setphen F. Austin.

My great grandfather was Daniel Joseph Burney and he married my great grandmother, Josie Callie Drake in North Zulch in 1919. My great great grandfather was John Tapley Burney and he was the son of Francis Burney and Martha Neeley Burney.

We have gone back before the revolutionary war to the four Burney Brothers, John Burney, Simon Burney, James Burney, and William Burney all of North Carolina. My particular family are decendents of Simon Burney.

If you think any of this will help you let me know.
