Burnett's and William Guy need help please

I have a deposition document in widows Pension file for Jonathan Roach. In the document son John H. Roach and daughter Lucinda Roach Shannon had to be depositions. Lucinda states "We lived on the place of John Burnett at LaVergne, TN and John and his brother Will Burnett Knew us."
We are trying to find out who the parents of Sarah Frances "Fanny" Guy (Jonathan's wife) were. Apparently she was born in 1827 Cherokee Co., Ga. and according to documents where Lucinda Shannon attempted to enroll family in the Cherokee Nation tribe (rejected) she has a Marion Guy as mother of Fannie/Fanny and states her grandfather William Guy claimed to be Cherokee Indian.
According to all online information I can find on William Guy he was actually Saponi and of Catawba decent. (Note: as no documentation can be found as to who his mother is and it is known that Cherokees may have intermarried with Saponi's during the settlements of Va it is possible she may have been Cherokee, but for all intense and purposes we have to assume Daniel Guy his father is Saponi-his birth place is unk, but William Guy states in Granville documents that he himself was born in Brunswick, Va (settlement of Saponi was there)and they moved to Mecklenburg, VA (other settlement of Saponi was there). If anybody can help determine who Marion Guy was and who was the father of Sarah Frances (fanny) Guy is it would be appreciated. Note: I am assuming that Marion was married to a male member of the "Guy" family since she is listed as mother of Sarah Frances "Fanny" Guy on the documents filed by Lucinda Shannon for enrollment with Cherokees.
Since borders of counties and states changed I am not sure if Granville co or parts of...became Cherokee Co or if Cherokee Co is near Alamance, but according to Lucinda her Grandfather lived in Cherokee Co, Ga and from Granville documents (in williams words) it appears that William Guy never acutually moved to Alamance area of NC, but that his children did and joined the Saponi settlement. Thank you for any help you can provide.
