Greetings. Thank you for your reply. I have information on your Burnett line if you are interested. I am connected with the BURNETT line and not the YOUNG line, so I would n't be interested in that info. Mary left Laurel County with Hiram and continued correspondance with her family for sometime afterwards. I have some letters and photographs of her and her family that she sent. I could forward you digital copies if you are interested. I do have one old photo of them against a stand of trees out west, probably early 1900's. You are the first that we have been able to locate of recent years from Mary's side of the family. My great grandparents were Alvis Burnett and Eliza Reams-Burnett, and I am descended through his daughter Nellie Burnett (sister to your Mary). Three of the daughters (Nellie, Sarah Elizabeth, and Alice) moved to Marion County, KY from Laurel County, and their paretns Alvis and Eliza moved to Marion County to be close to them. I have a group photo of the three sisters, along with brothers Elisha, Tilford, and Beverly. I also have information on the Reams and Freemans (Eliza's Line).
