See Hardin County Kentucky Marriage Bonds compiled by Mary Harel Stancliff, page 43, Levestone, Barney & Barbary Bonner, surety Barney Levestone & Daniel Bonner. Bond Dated 9 june 1799. Both men signed with an "X". John Paul was County Clerk. I have a copy of the original bond and Livingston is spelled Levestone and Burner as Bonner. The register shows that they were married the 11 Jun 1799. They are listed on the 1810 US Census, Kentucky, Hardin County, page 288. They were 26 to 45., 1 dau 10-16, 3 dau under 10, 1 son under 10. source LDS-FHC Search. Barney is not listed on the 1820 US Census, Kentucky, Hart Co. but Barbary is still 26-45 and no daus listed but has 1 son 10-16 (prob Daniel my GG grandfather) and two sons unser 10. Probably brother John and another son believed to be a young Barney. In 1830 US Census of Hart County Ky Census, son Daniel is listed by himself & by 1840 Daniel is married and has 7 children. Son John's family lines have been traced to Battletown in Meade Co., Ky and the last of his family down to a 1920 Census. Speculation from Green County Ky marriages, possible daughters of Barney & Barbary: Nancy Livingston to Caleb Warfield md 2 Aug 1821; Susan C. Liveston (Livingston ?) & George Hawks md 20 Jan 1825; Mary J. Levenston (Livingston ?) to John Vaughn md 5 Sep 1825. A Barnet (Livingston ?) is listed on the 1836-38 Hart County Tax List with one taxable Horse. On the 1850 US Census, Green County Ky., a Barney Levingston (40) born in KY is listed with a Mary Victor(85) as head born in NJ. Also a William McClain (10) born in TN wa with them. Young Barney was listed on one census as "Idiotic" ???. Barbary & Barney lived near the Green Couny Ky. line at a place later with a PO of Powder Mills. Older Livingstons in Missouri had some letters post marked Powder Mills Ky. Powder Mills had a Doctor and was on a stream producing Gun Powder and also had a tanning yard. The PO is no more but an old building remains that was the PO Bldg and also the Dr.'s office bldg remains. The place is now a fish hatchery with a feeble try at restoring some of the old buildings. Not too far away was the Atena Furnace Works. The Powder works had a serious explosion. I do not know if Barney worked at either place but I know the old farm stead was not all that far away. Their son John farmed after brother Daniel moved to Miller Co. Missouri and an old Uncle of mine claimed John was the laziest man in Hart County. Barbary is listed on the South Fork Baptist Church rolls just north in Larue County and son Daniel was active in the Knoxes Creek Baptist Church. I Have my Daniel Burner as the son of Jacob Burner and Magadlene Bumgarner. I think that Joseph Henry Bell was md to Eleanor Gum and then Barbara Burner's sister Elizabeth, who must have died. Md 10 Dec 1801 Hardin Co. Ky with Henry Bell & Daniel Burner as surety and signed with an X and Ben Helm was a witness. I have a copy of the original license. And later he married Elizabeth Livingston believd to be a sister to Barney Livingston 27 Jan 1838, Mumfordsville, hart Co., Ky.. There is a gut feeling that Barney may be the same as the one abt 10 yrs younger) who shows up married again abt 1815 possibly in Stewart Co. TN and shows up on the 1840 US Census in Gibson Co., TN # 202 with chilren married to a Trammell. Barney filed a petition for a distributive share (in right of his wife in Stewart Co, TN. I cannot find my Barney in the war of 1812 and this is just letting my mind wander. Most Genealogy is no written in stone. I hope this helps me find some of my lost Relatives Livingston and Burners. I need to find the father of Barney Livingston possibly a Henry???. Robert Livingston.
