My Isaac & Barbara Shrum Burner ancestor is Anna. She married John Wine. My gggrandparents, Joseph A. Miller & Barbara Wine, named a son Isaac Burner Miller! Thanks for the story, I had not heard it.
I have many papers on Jacob Burner Sr., including a copy of his will written 5 Apr 1785 with a codicil dated 19 July 1790. But I was never sure if my line was through son Jacob Jr. or Joseph. I have Jacob Sr. married to Magdalena Bumgarner/Baumgardner abt 1749. She also died in 1790 in Shenandoah Co. VA. Many, many thanks for your reply.
