Thank you Nancy for your reply. As you will see with the added information I'm suppling something seems very similar with the two Edward Burnell families. Here goes: My family's Effie O'Neal/O'Neil married Edward W. Burnell abt. 1897, somewhere close to Seattle Washington Effie & Edward had the following children: Ruby Burnell b. abt 1899, d. ? Fred E. Burnell b. 12 Oct 1899, d. Apr 1900 Dorothy Burnell b. 18 Sep 1902, d. ? While Effie remained in Seattle Edward worked in San Francisco, sometime after the great San Francisco earthquake which happen in 1906. Effie died on St. Valentine's Day 1911 (14 Feb 1911) from complications from the birth of her last child (I did not know the baby's name) I find the following similaries: Both Edwards were born about the same time, mine abt 1867, yours 27 Dec 1866 Both Edwards were born in California Both Edwards married about the same time, mine abt 1897, yours 03 May 1898 Both families have a daughter they named Dorothy and who was born in the year 1902 Both families have a Ruby in the family; mine was the daughter, yours the wife Your Edward had a daughter born in the same year my Effie died giving birth to her last child in 1911 Nancy, could it be possible that Edward remarried Ruby Cumin after Effie's death in 1911? What do you think? Of course the reverse could be true: Could Effie have married Edward after Ruby. Most of my information is from letters my grandmother received from Effie and her sisters. Also, I have pictures of Effie and her daughters I will share with you if that would be helpful Thanks Nancy for any information you provide. Jerry Moss Notify Administrator about this message?
