Henry BURN b. 1768 in Alston is possibly related to my BURN(E) family. I have Henry BURN b. before 1701 m. Elizabeth HARRISON in Alston in 1727. They had between 6 and 9 children, the eldest born in Allendale and the rest in Alston, including a Henry b. 1733.

It is quite feasible that one of Henry's sons or nephews was the father of your Henry BURN. I am descended from his second eldest son Richard via another Henry b. in Temple Sowerby in 1763.

Cheers
