My maternal grandmother was a Bauer who married a Moyer. She had always resided in the Chicago area. Her mother was a Burmeister. Her name was Katerina Wilemena Burmeister (I don't know if I'm spelling her names right.).

This is all I know for now. I will contact my mom and see if she can give me any other details.
