Does anyone have any further information/documentation regarding the wife of Roger Burlingame? Some have Mary Lippitt, widow of William Barlingstone as his wife, while others have Mary Barlingstone, William's daughter as his wife. It would seem David Burlingame, son of John and Mary Knowles Lippitt, grandson of Roger named one of his sons Barlingstone Burlingame (ignoring how ridiculous that name is)who was born about 1698, married Charity Colvin about 1726 and died about 1767 in Coventry, RI. It would seem unlikely that David would name a child after his grandmother's dead 1st husband. I haven't come across any other Barlingstones marrying into the family either. However, all the information I have is through secondary or tertiary sources. Does anyone have any documentation to eihter verify or disprove either woman as being or not being Roger's wife?
