Karen, I have found some conflicting information that maybe you can resolve. From "The Settlers of the Beekman Patent" on NEHGS, I found the following info: THE BURLINGHAM FAMILY The Burlinghams of Beekman were not here very long but proved to be quite interesting. Israel Burlingham was on a leased farm as early as 1763 and was here for over ten years. Other Burlinghams were of Washington and Pawling and are also included in our sketch. The emigrant ancestor of this family was ROGER1 BURLINGHAM who was prob. b. ca. 1638 and who m. ca. 1663 Mary dau. of William Barlingstone. Roger Burlingham d. 1 Sept. 1718. He lived in Stonington, CT and Warwick and Providence, RI. [Early information from ARI 32]. In addition to this, there is an article in the NEHGS (Vol 27, page 70) that list Mary Lippitt as a daughter of Moses Lippitt and has her marrying John, son of Roger and Mary Burlingame. There is no mention of John Senior having a daughter named Mary. Notify Administrator about this message?
