I am a descendant of PATIENCE BURLINGAME WHO MARRIED TO GEORGE FOSTER grandson of Theodore Foster, who founded a city of Foster, RI Patience was the daughter of Thomas Burlingame and Mary Lippitt. She was born in Smithfield, Rhode Island in the late 1790's. Patience and George had a son John Wilbur Foster and my 4th gr. grandmother, Phoebe Foster who married to Elah Carpenter son of Daniel Carpenter of Washington Co, RI. It is great to have a historical family background. Be proud of our American Heritges!
