A STUPID QUESTION? - Is there really ANY stupid questions pertaining to genealogy? Anyway here goes - My husbands great grandmother is Ada Burlingame - daughter of Joseph W. and Sarah [Ward] Burlingame. Ada married Frank Helmer. My question is - has ANYONE searching the Burlingame ancestry run across the Helmer surname?? She is so closely related to Hardin Burlingame (she is his granddaughter) - whom EVERYONE seems to know - you would think that SOMEONE would know of Ada's husbands family. I have found so little, I can't start a search anywhere. Can anyone help in any way? It would be so appreciated! Thank you, Donna.
