Barry: Found a few minutes to check over my B'game info. I have an early copy of the work done by Nelson H. Burlingame and Mrs. Melvin B'game. They have quite a bit of data on your family Silas (Moses, Moses, Thomas, Roger). For eg: Silas b: May 20, 1741 Cranston, R.I. d: March 5, 1829 New Berlin, NY m: Nov. 11, 1764 to Mehitable Fisk d/o Silas Fisk.

Silas' father Moses: b: ca 1722 m: May 4, 1740 to Lydia Baker b: ca 1714, d/o Elisha and Mary (Earle)Baker.
James Arnold in his vital records of R.I. states that Moses and Lydia were married May 4, 1744, but the original record reads as follows: William Burton, Justice of the Peace, gave marriage Moses Burlingame Jr. and Lydia Baker both of Providence on the 4th day of May A.D. 1740 (Bk. 1 pg.95)

Daniel s/o Silas b: May 11, 1778 Scituate, R.I. d: May 10, 1824 New Berlin, NY m: Sept. 3, 1797 in New Berlin to Betsey Holmes b: March 25, 1782 d: Sept. 19, 1865. She was the daughter of Jedidiah and Hannah (Brown) (Ludlow) Holmes. (Her mother married first a French officer named Ludlow) Betsey married 2nd a Mr. Sherman. Her gravestone reads "Betsey Sherman, former wife of Daniel Burlingame", Holmesville, NY Cemetery.
Daniel was a Methodist minister ordained in 1810 by Bishop Ashbury. He died at New Berlin leaving a widow, 12 children, an aged father, two brothers and one sister (Norwich Sun)

There is also a page of info on Silas written by his grandson Joel Burlingham.

I hope some of this info is helpful and that you will be able to help me regarding Reuben B'game's bible.
