Ruth Grinnell, according to some records, was married first to Walter Palmer, who died at sea. She later married Jeremiah Burlingame, but by Palmer she had two children: Isaac and Betsey. Isaac grew up, married and had children. What happened to Betsey? We are looking for a Betsey Palmer, supposedly born in RI at about the right time to be this Betsey, but can't make the connection. Any hidden documentation out there?
